A unique Alaskan experience! Visit a world premier Iditarod kennel and learn about the race from Iditarod Musher Vern Halter and Susan Whiton trained Veterinarian. Enjoy a walking tour of our 5,000 sq. ft. kennel facility and catch some great photo opportunities with our marvelously energetic huskies, petting and cuddling encouraged! If you are heading north to Denali or Talkeetna, the kennel is just

Summer Kennel Tours

Every summer from June to September Dream a Dream Dog Farm offers a unique adventure for the visitor who is looking for a glimpse into the daily operations of an Alaskan musher. Tours are offered throughout the day, which makes Dream a Dream Dog Farm the perfect place to stop on your way to other adventures. Vern’s premiere kennel tours are great for groups from 4 people to 45 people. He has indoor seating that will accommodate all sizes of groups and his facilities are motor coach friendly.

Mushing Adventure Camps

Mushing Adventure Camps are the ideal quest for the visitor who wants to learn more about the Iditarod and kennel life. Dream a Dream Dog Farm offers year round, 3 day, 4 day and 7 day camps. “Be part of the Iditarod Team”

Winter Treks & Tours

Winter Treks are one week outfitted, and guided dog team treks in the Alaskan wilderness. The adventurer can choose from 3 different routes and has room for 4 to 5 adventures on each trek. Please call for more details.

“The Ultimate Adventure”

Race the Iditarod! This is a one to two year program with comprehensive training to help the extreme adventurer fulfill his or her dream to run The Last Great Race. Please call for more details.
