Valdez is absolutely picturesque, prepare to be amazed.
This area is abundant in marine and land wildlife, this in combination
with towering Chugach mountains and views of the Lowe River Valley
setting is perfectly displayed for one of the more beautiful drives
and visiting opportunities throughout the state of Alaska.
Valdez is home to 5 glaciers that can be accessed by walking, cruising,
flying or driving. The Worthington, Meares, Columbia, Shoup and Valdez
Glaciers provide a magnificent backdrop for activities such as day
tour cruising, helicopter flightseeing, rafting, kayaking and for
hiking or biking the historic Gold Rush trails.
Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy both inland and ocean options in Valdez.

This 6 and one-half hour journey through Prince William Sound will
allow you to view the spectacular icebergs from Columbia Glacier.
In route we will travel the glacial cut fjords of the Sound past cascading
waterfalls. While on board you will have a chance to view the Sounds’
wildlife including Bull Head Sea Lion Haul-out. You will learn about
mining, oil, earthquake, and fishing history and you will hear stories
about the first people to explore and live in the Sound. On board
