Most fish are still firm and edible and in better shape than the Salmon being caught 60-70 miles downstream in Willow ... just off the Susitna. Although, fishing is always good ... many of my guests have enjoyed the serenity of being the only fishermen on these clear water streams. Fly fisherman, you’ll love it. Grizzlies can appear at any time throughout the Summer, however the month of July is the Best. All Fishermen are equipped with Bear Mace and Your guide carrys a 12 gauge shot gun ... just for extra protection/safety. This can be a full 8-10 hour day...minimum time commitment 5 hours.
